Whenever
After that last stint of a promised revival my popular blog, I just decided that if I make it less of a daily obligation I may be more compelled to update. I probably just damned myself there but whatever. Anyway, since my last post I have moved to Portland and started school at The Western Culinary Institute and am studying for an AAS in Baking and Pastry.
School has been fine alright although I...

Les het dis shi up mawn.
Today was the second day of the feel-like-your-on-fire season. And with that I must say I love the high blurry feeling of the heat all over and when the windows are down in your car, the wind is just as warm. I feel full and I keep thinking about sitting in a rocking chair on a porch with mint tea and summer cake and being lazy. Like white Jim Crow lazy. All racism aside, summer is the greatest...
Jeffy's?
Lately I have been thinking a lot about what I am going to do after culinary school and when I have made some money in the restaurants. Mostly my future bakery/coffee roasters/vegetarian cafe/book store/venue. If anyone is interested in being apart of my dream that is likely to happen in the next ten years, let me know! The name though is still in deliberation. I am a bear and love my kind so...

Nothing says more about a person’s personality than the music they listen to. Especially if that person listens to Nickelback. Douche…
I'm back!
For how long is uncertain but I recently felt compelled to start updating regularly again. Perhaps it will become usefull for when I move in the summer and hopefully meet many more people with whom I do not harbor disdain for. (For you grammar idiots, please see the rules of English) And maybe this time around I may acually get a few readers. I also plan to start my baking blog on here and branch...

I'm totally buggin!
Never do I feel more like I have been born in the wrong time than when I watch the 1995 blockbuster, Clueless starring Alicia Silverstone. I mean besides comparing how social trends differ from the 90’s’ inspiration and simplicity to today’s very uninspired and entirely misled population, everything about the 90’s was better. Except maybe for television (excluding...
Human Rights First | Elect to End Torture '08 →
“Join thousands of other Americans for Human Rights and sign Human Rights First’s petition to the presidential candidates asking them to commit to ending policies that have led to torture and tarnished the United States: http://www.humanrightsfirst.org/us_law/etn/elect08/go/taf.asp Elect to End Torture 08 is a nonpartisan campaign to make sure that the next President puts an end to...
I need a pal.
I think I have a new job! I had an interview at Domus in Los Gatos today and man, I sure talked that manager lady right out of her proverbial hiring panties. Come visit me next week when I will most likely be working. Afterwards though, I was driving back towards my house and I realized I was in the wrong lane and was about to go to Santa Cruz. So my apathy got the hold of me and just decided to...
Super Tuesday!
The day of reckoning has arrived! And as much as it pains me to finally admit the defeat of Dennis Kucinich, hope is not 100% lost and it takes the form in Barack Obama (not to steal his own motto). I mean, America has already ruined its chances to be happy in the next 4 years with the combination of 8 years with a shitty leader and the dismissal of a sound, truly public debate, but I think Obama...

Good, yeah? I think the only thing left to do is put LCDs underneath clear fabric and cushion and then the future is truly upon us. I personally like the crazy circle reading nook. At least that is what I would use it for. -

OH SHIIIIIIIII…this guy is my favorite artist and as you can see, is pretty damn amazing. He does all of his work with pen and pencil and has more talent than most of you will ever have. Unfortunately, his recent exhibit in San Francisco just ended on the 2nd but the next time it comes around, would anyone like to come? -

If you like some of the music I put on here or you are just a fan of great music from generations past, Lost-In-Tyme is an excellent place with album reviews and most of them are posted on Rapidshare to download. Please check it out. -
Walk instead.
I basically have no job and so I have plenty of time to do nothing. Today though, I decided to take a walk, something I haven’t done in a long while. It was great! It was so great in fact that I want to do it again and I want to encourage others to join me. And it was very nice to see the things you don’t really notice when you are in a car. I will post photos later of things that were...
Cool, yeah? I would have liked to have been there. Perhaps with a thousand more people, it might have looked a bit more surreal but you can never please me, so.. -
Comments!
I am an HTML genius! Well at least I am good at finding HTML to copy and use it correctly. Well I got a third party comment site to host my comments; just click the timestamp at the end of the posts to comment. So commence in commenting! -

Very nice artwork here. The body art is especially remarkable. -
Contact!
Tumblr does have its faults such as no comment posting on blog posts, so if you would ever want to contact me, my AIM Screen name is StrokingDeadEd and my myspace is at myspace.com/vladiv. Talking would be greatly appreciated. -

I am planning on putting up a baking blog soon seeing as I am a pastry chef, but in the meantime, this site has amazing food blog links. -
First post so cool.
So this is my first post on my new personal blog. I have never kept one before so I am likely to be inconsistent, uninteresting at times and fall to other rookie mistakes. I think a daily journal thing is completely less interesting than just explaining the things you think about when you encounter situations and things you find on the internet (seeing as I spend a lot of my time here). Other...
